People's Pride PGH 2021

The Unitarian Universalists of Greater Pittsburgh is humbled and honored to be a sponsor of People’s Pride PGH 2021, presented by SisTers PGH. SisTers PGH is a Black and Trans led non-profit organization that serves QTBIPOC (Queer Trans Black Indigenous People of Color), trans, and nonbinary people within Southwestern PA. founded and operated by Black, Pittsburgh-grown transwomxn and femmes. The People’s Pride PGH March and Music Festival was created in 2017 to uplift Black, trans, and nonbinary folks who have not felt welcome or included in other Pittsburgh Pride events.
People’s Pride PGH 2021 will be celebrated virtually from June 18-20 and will be centered around the theme "Reclaiming Pittsburgh Pride." Now more than ever, TLGBQIA+ and other marginalized communities must stand together, firmly rooted in equity and radical honesty, and take back the celebration of our lives.
The People’s Pride PGH 2021 schedule includes:
June 18 - Self Care Day - Care Packages will be mailed out to registered attendees
June 19 - LGBTQ Pittsburgh's Best Award Ceremony
June 20 - Pittsburgh Pride Virtual Parade & Artist Festival
