2015 General Assembly Begins June 24

General Assembly, the annual meeting of the Unitarian Universalist Association, will take place June 24-28 2015 in Portland OR. Attendees will worship, witness, learn, connect, and make policy for the Association through democratic process. In addition to the business sessions, highlights include the Banner Parade, the Service of the Living Tradition, and the Ware Lecture by Dr. Cornel West. Certified congregations can send delegates to represent your congregation and vote on this year’s business items which include Bylaw amendments related to the Commission on Appraisal and Regions, Proposed Actions of Immediate Witness, and a proposed Statement of Conscience on Reproductive Justice.
